Graduates of Apple Childcare Center’s pre-kindergarten program consistently meet and exceed kindergarten readiness expectations as they transition to elementary school. Based on the 2025-2026 Teaching Strategies® GOLD® assessment, over 90 percent of our pre-k children demonstrated exceptional kindergarten readiness skills across all learning domains, setting a strong foundation for their future academic success.

Our well-rounded before- and after-school program aligns with what children are learning at school, providing a mix of enriching activities and fun. We also integrate homework support into the daily schedule, allowing you to spend more quality time with your family at home.
Our school-age classrooms are designed for relaxation and creativity, where children can unwind, socialize with friends, complete homework, enjoy a book, prepare snacks, work on craft projects, or create something special. We offer six activity areas that encourage exploration and learning.
- In our School-Age classrooms, teachers create a nurturing and stimulating environment through songs, cuddles, storytelling, conversations, sign language, yoga, and hands-on play.
During your child's time in our before or after school program, you'll receive updates via a mobile app. This allows our teachers to share important information, send messages, and share photos and videos. You can also use the app to communicate with your child’s teacher.
We want to empower parents with knowledge and tools to reinforce learning at home. To do this, we will offer periodic parent education workshops. These might be short evening sessions on topics like “Positive Discipline Strategies,” “Nutrition for Young Children,” or “Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten.”
