"I truly appreciate the nutritious meals at Apple Childcare. Each meal includes fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet for my child. My son has become a more adventurous eater, thanks to the wholesome food choices offered!"
At Apple Childcare Center, we believe in the value of a healthy beginning. Our daycare curriculum includes hands-on activities such as planting and caring for school gardens, cooking projects, and exciting taste-testing experiences to help children learn about healthy eating and nutrition.
We also foster social, emotional, cognitive, and fine motor skills through family-style meal service. By sitting with the children during meals, teachers encourage them to try new foods while allowing them the freedom to choose what and how much to eat. This approach helps children develop confidence in exploring new foods. To further support healthy eating habits and sustainability, we use reusable plates, cups, and utensils in our centers.
At Apple Childcare, our food and nutrition team is committed to supporting our centers by offering expert advice on managing food allergies, providing professional development for kitchen managers, and conducting on-site visits to maintain our dedication to health and nutrition.
